Anti Skid protection, deck corrosion

Wencon Coating and aggregate are used to ensure non-slip surfaces on deck, floors, steps, stairs, passages etc. For corrosion protection of deck only, no aggregate is used.

Heating coils

Heating coils often leak in the welding sleeve joints, due to use of improper welding material. Heavily pitted pipe surfaces are often seen in the bottom area, usually caused by the combination of bad steel – aggressive media - and high surface temperature.

Ballast tank corrosion

Steel constructions near the inlet of a pump often suffer from erosion/corrosion and impingement, for instance the ballast tank. In case the deterioration has reached a point, where thickness of the steel plates are critical small, doublers should be welded in before this treatment.
